DR. KIM POWER
Dentist
Dr. Kim Power is a North Carolina native. She was raised in Cary and loved North Carolina so much that she attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington for undergrad and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for dental school. She left UNCW early when she was granted early acceptance into UNC Dental School.
Her Doctorate of Dental Surgery was obtained in 2016, but she considers herself a lifelong learner and is a self-proclaimed continuing education junkie. Her love of learning is paralleled by her love of teaching; Dr Power enjoys being part-time faculty at UNC dental school so she can spread her passion for dentistry with others.
In her free time, Dr. Power loves hanging out with her friends and family. She has two fur-kids, Ava Mae and Baxter. She loves eating good food, playing games and trivia (even though she's terrible at it), and spending time relaxing on her front porch.
Dr. Power has a special interest in making people comfortable. She believes that her job as a provider is to make her patients feel heard. She strives to be efficient and thorough, but kind and personable, to create an excellent, one-of-a-kind appointment (despite negative past experiences). It brings her great joy when patients say that it was the best experience they've ever had. She is so excited to meet you!
